| Path To The Doc by Leo |
On Wednesday we took a trip to Jersey City. To be specific we explored Newport. When arriving to Newport I was amazed with all the amazing features that surrounded this beautiful city. I looked around and found marvelous things that I can take pictures of. There was patterns, color, shapes, lines, etc. There was just so many things to take pictures of. My mission was to get as many pictures as I can involving the elements, principles, and techniques of photography but most importantly using the rule of thirds. It was time to work! And so I began......

| Pedal With Rain Drops by Leo |
While on my journey I took over 70 photos. In my opinion these three really stand out. They really cached my attention. The first picture above is the path to the doc. I thought of this picture as a path to success. It has various lines, patterns, and shapes. Also another reason this picture stands out is because of the way the image is viewed. It looks as if you are walking on it. My second picture on the right is a picture of blue flowers I found walking to the Newport Mall. What really stood out for me was the rain drops on one of the pedals. This picture has focus and color. I really liked this picture because it was as if motion suddenly stopped. This picture allowed me to understand that in order to become someone you always wanted to be you have to be patient and make the right decision at the right time. My last and final picture is a picture of dead fish I found on the floor. It wasn't the entire fish it was just 2 tails left on the ground. My attention was caught on the texture of the tails. Looking at this photo makes you want to feel and touch. This picture has texture and shapes. This picture helped me understand that you only have one life so make the best out of it.
In conclusion, this trip was very interesting and fun. We spent time together, and helped each other out throughout the trip. We walked to the Newport Mall, we took pictures, we ate, and most importantly we all worked with each other when we had to transport back to school. I saw marvelous things in Jersey City. If Jersey City was this interesting I wonder how Hoboken will be like? How will New York City be like? I can't wait! Stay tuned to find out.

ReplyDeletelove the flower picture because it shows color and it was cool how you got the rain drops on it
ReplyDeleteThese are nicely done; there is obviously a lot of thought that goes into your pictures. Leo: please fix some of the misspelled words. Otherwise, good work with the camera.
