The End Is Near......

Well to begin, throughout May I've learned a lot about photography and cameras. In our class we had assignments we had to complete. At the end of the semester we had to get our best photos out of our pictures we took all the month and write about them in a presentation held in the Shanley Gym. My ten were chosen and to make my life easier I'll explain them here.
My first picture is a photo taken on my first day of taking photos. I thought outside the box and decided to take the picture from a different angle so that the view will be as if you were above the court. Also the objects surrounding the gym were very interesting so that made me like the photo even more. My second photo I took on my second day of taking photos. It is a good photo because while walking through a bridge people don't look up and so I thought the lines and shapes were a cool picture to capture. It is a picture that people will ask what's that? That's a sign that your photo is a good one.
My third picture was taken in a field trip to Jersey City. I was walking and walking and then on the ground I saw something just laying there and comes out to be two fish tails. Then I knew it would be a good photo because when taking a photo from an angle of fish makes you want to just feel it and look at it from a different point of view. My fourth photo was taken in New York. I was looking all around for interesting objects and found a mailbox with an interesting lock. I took a picture of the lock using the rule of thirds and then I knew it was a good photo. The way the lock had a weird shape and the background which was peeling blue paint which also makes you want to feel it.
My fifth photo was taken in Highline Park in New York. I saw various flowers while walking but for some reason I liked this one the most. First of all what makes this photo a good one is that it focuses on that one flower with the bee on it. By the way i didn't know that bee was there, guess it was a lucky shot. But yeah it makes you want to say how much time did you stay to make the bee stay still. My sixth photo was taken at Highline Park in New York. It is a bench leading to some tourists looking at buildings or just walking to some other interesting things. This is a good photo because the lines are leading to those people and it feels as if you were walking and joining them.
My seventh photo was taken at the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a photo taken in a certain angle that most people won't see it as. It was one of the sides of the bridge that i found interesting there. This is also a good photo because it is as if you are on your way to some place you want to go or a destination like the end of the bridge. My eighth photo was taken in Brooklyn Bridge. It was a caution sign that i decided to take several photos of, but i took the photos from different angles and at the end this one was the better one. It's a good photo because I simplified the background which is the sky and making the sign an unusual shape.
My ninth photo was taken in Times Square. It was a sunroof I believe I took right next to Hooters.   I looked up and saw various lines and shapes that will really stand with the orange color. It was a good photo because it seems like a collage of shapes and lines that you just want to see somewhere. My tenth photo was taken in Central Park. I saw a tunnel and wanted to explore it. So I took photos of it several times and took one of an unusual view. It made it a great photo because of how the lines continue in an unusual pattern and how the shape of the light is like the shape of your eye. It make you want to believe that's your eye and you looking at the world you live in.
In conclusion, I liked all these photos and they all  were great in different ways. I did this to make it easier and get one homework assignment out of my hands. I described my final photos on the blog and now instead of doing this future work later i can relax and live more simpler. Stay tuned for more of our final days in this class.(time flies so fast i can still remember as if yesterday it was my first day of taking pictures and now im coming to an end.)
