The class went on a field trip to the Newport area in Jersey City. I took various photos of things outside the area and also in Newport Mall. My first picture is a picture of leafs on a tree. It shows the example of Filling The Frame in this picture. The leafs fill up the picture and I also like the rain drops on the leafs.
I choose this picture because it is something different from each of the pictures I had taken on the trip. This is a picture of chips. I wanted to post this because this show texture. The chips are rough and hard and they are all scattered around. The color also pops at you when you look at it. It makes you want to ask a question like " What are those ?"
I choose this picture because I like the background in this image. This is a picture of a bottle of water on a table. This picture is showing an example of the Rule Of Thirds. The water is positioned on the right side of the camera.
CHYKE: You're definitely improving. Keep experimenting with the other elements and principles that we learned about in class. Make sure you keep COMPOSING the pictures. We need to see the THINKING that goes on with composing a good picture. -DL
