Jersey City Trip

The  class  went  on  a  field  trip  to  the  Newport  area  in  Jersey City. I  took  various  photos  of  things  outside  the  area  and  also  in  Newport Mall. My  first  picture  is  a  picture  of  leafs  on  a  tree. It  shows  the  example  of  Filling The Frame  in  this  picture. The  leafs  fill  up  the  picture  and  I  also  like  the  rain  drops  on  the  leafs.
I  choose  this  picture  because  it  is  something  different  from  each  of  the  pictures  I  had  taken  on  the  trip. This  is  a  picture  of  chips. I  wanted  to  post  this  because  this show  texture. The  chips  are  rough  and  hard  and  they  are  all  scattered  around. The  color  also  pops  at  you  when  you  look  at  it. It  makes  you  want  to  ask  a  question  like " What are those ?"
I  choose  this  picture  because  I  like  the  background  in  this  image. This  is  a  picture  of  a  bottle  of  water  on  a  table. This  picture  is  showing  an  example  of  the Rule Of Thirds. The  water  is  positioned  on  the  right  side  of  the  camera.

  1. CHYKE: You're definitely improving. Keep experimenting with the other elements and principles that we learned about in class. Make sure you keep COMPOSING the pictures. We need to see the THINKING that goes on with composing a good picture. -DL
