My Portrait
The task for today was to take a portrait photo of someone with a plain background. This to me is one of the best portrait photos I have taken because of how the light reflects off my teacher's face. While composing this photo, I didn't use flash but I used natural light from the window to make my teacher's face show. Today was a good day and I also learned a lot about photography.

I like the idea and effort you put into the photo. I would like to add that you should have doubled up your reflector because I can clearly see with side its on.
ReplyDelete@Evans S - I don't think the light from the left was caused by a reflector. Looks more like light coming through a window. I don't think any reflectors were used in this portrait.
ReplyDelete@montah - The picture's great by the way and quite a good use of the camera's grid. You should have moved a little bit to the left though. If you did, the indent of the window on the left would not have shown up in the picture and the background would have been just plain white. Other than that, love the picture.
Montah: since I was obviously involved in the process of creating this photo, I knew exactly what you did, and how the reflector held by Alex helped to bring light to the side of the subject's face that was away from the window. You forgot to mention the use of that reflector when you wrote your post. -DL
ReplyDeleteI like how the light is on the left side and it would look even better if there was more light to the left but i like how the background is darker so you ca focus more on the subject.
