My rule of thirds

My favorite photo is of Erçan Akdogan. It's my favorite because I enjoy his facial expression, even though he was willingly posing, made a funny face. I enjoy it because it's not what you usually see in most pictures. In most pictures people are smiling or frowning and may even have a straight face on but not many are usually bad eyeing the camera. Also some people can relate to the emotion because most people have that face on anyway. My picture also follows the rule of thirds, which was our lesson today. In our lesson we learned about the rule of thirds in relation to the grid and how we were supposed to set up the photo. In my photo he is aligned with the left side column and his eyes fall above the center and the top line. This makes the picture fall nicely into the rule of thirds.
