New York is amazing

From may 16 through may 18 me and my photography class were at several different locations in New York. First we went to this newly made park or walk way, it had used to be an abandoned rail rode but they decided to change it into a park. Now this park was ridiculously long but along the way i found several things in the surroundings that were really fascinating to me. As you can see this purple like flower caught my eye and i just had to take it because i have never seen a flower like that and on camera i felt that the focus and color was just right.
The second day we went more into the city and it was great but the train ride was long. From Penn station in Newark we we went all the way at the world trade center and we saw the construction of the new building to come and so far it looks great. At first i wasn't taking as many pictures i wanted to because i was really looking forward to getting pictures of patterns, different shapes, and plants. We had been walking for some time now and we came across this park and i struck gold. From the picture (above left) the sunlight was just focused on the center on this set of flowers and this fascinated me so much that i had to take it.
On the last and final trip to New York this is were we hit it big. We were near the Brooklyn bridge and it was just astonishing. I was taking pictures left and right but along the walk way to the bridge there i saw this screw. It might look really simple but i like to take pictures of inanimate objects more than i do people because in my opinion i think its easy but much more vivid in show casing itself and they can tell a story even if you don't notice it right away.
