Patterns (and shapes)

Today, we learned about 'Elements and Principles' in photography. I chose to focus on two, one element and one principle. In this photo, one can notice two (2) things. The most obvious one is the principle of 'patterns'. The squares are placed almost equal spaced both horizontally and vertically. The pattern is the same, no matter what direction one looks. The next thing one may notice are the element of 'shapes'. All of these are in the shape of a square. They all look the same. I initially took this picture to show pattern but later realized it showed shapes too.
