Portrait Photos
This photo right here was my best photo of the day. With the help of Cheikh N'diaye i was able to catch a portrait photo. The background was just the right amount of exposure, along with my subject being able to stand still. I had to take this photo from a weird angle, in order to get the perfect photo. Cheikh kept still and made a straight face which made the perfect still image. this was hard at first because he was so nervous. Still can't complain because all ended well.

The subject has his back to the window.
ReplyDeleteNice pic
ReplyDeleteThe angle of this picture adds an interesting twist to this portrait (no pun intended). It would have not have looked as good if you took it from right in front of him. It would probably have been overexposed too, considering the fact that the background, in this case, is transparent.
ReplyDeleteThe subject DOES have his back to the window, and I hope that Kevin used a REFLECTOR to bring light to the front of the subject's face. I think it's the way that Kevin was able to give the right exposure to Cheikh's face. If the reflector was used, then, Kevin, you did a good job with this portrait. Could you explain where you placed the reflector? We'd like to know. _DL
