what i learned about product photography is that you really want to simplify your background as much as possible and get as close as possible to the item that your taking a picture of. your light energy you need to have on point neither overexposed nor underexposed. when i took the picture above i actually took a great photo which i believe would sell the two items above. an i also turned my camera to fill the frame with the item.
