Today was an interesting day. I wasn't expecting to begin taking pictures this early in the course. Nevertheless, I was happy to get started. I had to be very careful when taking these pictures. The 'five picture' limit, despite its few frustrating moments, was tolerable as a whole. There was a photo I wanted to retake but couldn't because of this and the 'no deleting' restriction.
Before taking these pictures, I was careful to get the right angle (the angle that made the subject look its best), distance, and a focused image (as clear of an image as possible). There were times when I had to circle around a subject repeatedly just to get a good shot. I'll admit, I enjoyed doing so. It made me feel like a professional photographer. My photos, as a whole, turned out good. Except for two I could have done better with and one I wanted to delete (but didn't), today's assignment was fun. I think that the season and today's weather played a factor in making the photos look the way they did. The wet weather gave the plants and grass a fresh look, enhancing the looks of my photos. Springtime is one of the best times to take photos, especially photos of nature. Hopefully next time, we will be able to take pictures of people and of whatever we want, even though I personally prefer taking pictures of nature.
