Learning the rule of thirds

On may 2 we learned the rule of thirds. The rule of thirds is about dividing a scene into nine equal part. We learned not to center our subject because its common and boring. Bring focus to the eyes or any other points of interest. Taking pictures of art including statues are not needed.

The picture I took using the rule, I believe looked ok. They were not bad and not good in my eyes. I'm not even sure if I use the rule right. I tired to go outside to take pictures , I thought it went well even though it was raining and cold.
