Class was very exciting today. We learned about the rules of thirds. This rule taught us how to divide a scene into equal parts. Also learned how aligning a subject with POI's and grid lines creates a pleasing beautiful compositions. This rule can be hard to execute, especially with an SLR camera because of its build. Besides that, Most newer cameras have grid's built in.
If i had to choose an favorite picture i took today, it would have to be the one of the SBP baseball cap. Dr. Lansang taught me and fellow classmate Chyke Ndu how to focus a camera in order to execute this rule. We took a couple of test shots of science equipment to practice this rule. To me if any of my pictures came out looking like those test shots, it would have to be the baseball cap. The picture was only hard to shoot because of the symmetry that goes along with carrying out this rule. Even so, today's experience was very exciting.
