So it is our first day of trips. We went off to to NJPAC, and the whole way there we took pictures using the rule called "Rule of Thirds". Lansang told us to take at least twenty pictures using the rule. At first I thought that it would be pretty simple to complete the task, but through the day I noticed that it wasn't at all what i thought it would be. I felt that their was not many things that looked as interesting as I wanted it to look. I was looking for photos that a photographer would put in a magazine.
Although I may have felt lost through the trip, I still think that my pictures came out pretty decent for an amateur. I was most proud of taking a picture of a flower near NJPAC. Reason being, is how i focused the picture while blurring the background. All in all, I liked the trip even though I was not as proud of the location, I can not wait until we go to New York City.
This is very well done, Yann. The focal point/emphasis is obviously the rose bud, and you've managed to compose the photo so that the flower is off to one side, and the background (because it's blurry) does not distract from the main emphasis. Well done, and nicely written. -DL
ReplyDeleteUsing the "one-third" method is aso recommended for video production also... Well done!
ReplyDeleteI like the use of the flower and how your picture shows it just about to start its life
ReplyDeletei like this picture because it shows the rule of thirds very well. Also the blurred background and the water drops that are visible on the flower
ReplyDeleteI think this photo is well composed because you used the Rule of Thirds. Also I like how you captured the rose bud and how you managed to make it the focus point in the photo. Good job!
ReplyDeleteYan, I'd hate to say it, but you really took a great photo. It had pretty colors and the blurry background effect made the picture really pretty. This reminds me of a wallpaper photo of some dell computer. Great work Yan, keep it up.
