The class went on a field trip to Memorial Park and to Nj Pac yesterday afternoon. We first started down the street near the water fountain. We took pictures of the water falling and the flowers around. Then we walked toward Rutgers-Newark and I took pictures of things around the campus. After that we walked to NJPAC where there was a lot of space to take various pictures. I took pictures of things like train tracks, people, and the things around.
My picture that I choose that applied to the rule of thirds was a picture of Dr. Lansang. DL was standing at a mailbox eating peanuts, when I captured him in the act. It was rule of thirds because when I took the picture he came out standing more to the right side.
This is a good example of the Rule of Thirds, if just for the sake of taking a photo to show that Rule. During the next assignments, try to find something more 'artistic' for a subject. Thanks for your posting, and the photograph of me. -DL
