It's only my second day of taking pictures and already it was challenging. If I thought yesterday was pretty challenging it was nothing compared to today. It all started off with beauty. What it meant to me ? Beauty is a word that has many definitions. Everyone has an opinion in what beauty is. In my opinion, beauty is creativity that surrounds our every day world with amazement and excitement that makes you say WOW ! My assignment today was to use the Rule of Thirds. What the Rule of Thirds basically does is it divides a scene into nine equal parts. It took me ten minutes to find my first picture. It was a challenge but by asking for help from my teachers I understood more on how pictures should be taking using this rule.
My first picture consisted of the ceiling of the bridge that connects the two buildings in our school. It was a picture that not anyone can take. I thought outside the box and saw great shapes and a nice back round that involved the Rule of Thirds. I just looked up, asked God for help, and there I found it my first picture of the day. As soon as I glanced at the ceiling I then saw what beauty was. It was creativity. The kind of creativity that only few people notice. Today's project taught me a lot and showed me things I never thought were "art" or "creative". So today was a challenge that transformed me into a better photographer. I wonder what tomorrow will bring me ?
